My daughter picked these out for me for my PT Cruiser and her Dodge Avenger. They are just about identical to my original key except better because they are BLUE! They are made well and were easy to program on both vehicles. I do recommend them.

Able to get the key cut and programmed at Batteries Plus for my 2010 Dodge Avenger. Much cheaper than a dealership.

Great price. HOWEVER, They function to start the vehicle, pass the security system, however buttons do not function on either fobs. Expensive gamble After paying to have them cut and programmed.

Why does Chrysler charge over $300 for one of these?They will program it for you. If you don't have any working "smart keys", they can look up the programming settings for your vehicle.I still had two working smart keys so all I had to do was go to a hardware store and pay $3 for them to cut this key blank instead of one of their own. I then needed to take a few minutes and follow the instructions in the owners manual about how to use the two working smart keys that I had to program this third one.

I have purchased these remotes for several cars. I have a PT Cruiser and a Jeep Liberty. The remotes are hard to tell which is which. By using two colors now I instantly know which remote goes to the proper vehicle.

Keys look great and were shipped fast, BUT for 2005 Jeep Liberty you can’t program them yourself. Needs to be done by 3rd party programmers that have the thousand dollar computer specific for this model or local Jeep dealership. The 3 stars are for product quality and fast shipping.Update: 3rd party programmer cannot program keys for this year/model, these keys are for newer models and not for 2005 Jeep Liberty. The keys were cut, so now I have keys to use manually, but the remote is useless for this year/model.

Both keys work perfectly for my 2006 Jeep Commander. I had them cut by a locksmith for $10 each. Then I was able to program them myself using the Autel ap200 OBD Bluetooth dongle ($45 from amazon). They both programmed with no problems. The remotes work great too.I saved hundreds by doing this all myself. It would have cost me 200-300 to buy them from my local stealership and have them programmed!My only complaint is the Red color of the housing is pinkish. But oh well. I can deal with that.
