I love this chord dictionary. I particularly liked how each chord is detailed in all forms (root, 1st inversion, 2nd inversion, etc) with a picture showing how the hands are positioned on the keyboard or piano.Excellent all around. Still important to learn scales, but this is an extremely detailed shortcut.

The chords in this book are very well laid out, clear to view with picture diagrams, finger positions, notes & with a easy index to find whatever chord your looking for so ideal for quick reference etc. Slightly better than the Hal Leonard as there version does not printout the actual fingerings as you will see from this linkhttp://www.amazon.co.uk/Picture-Encyclopedia-Leonard-Publishing-Corporation/dp/0634032909/ref=pd_sim_sbs_14_1?ie=UTF8&refRID=1EA7W5GAZ30GJYY6AYVX
