I'm not exactly sure what this product is supposed to accomplish. It is made very well from a very hard, durable plastic. But what is the purpose of the design? It's long and narrow making it a weird shape for a tire chock for a car. If it's for smaller wheeled conveyances like lawn mowers, why does it need to be so long? The hard smooth plastic makes it slip too easily. I pulled my trailer up to it and before it stopped the trailer it slid about 14 or 15 inches before digging into the dirt and stopping it. This was on gently sloped ground. I'm not sure it would have stopped it on a real incline. They are not tall enough to use as a tire changing ramp. I did try that but the second tire stayed firmly on the ground. If they are for helping to drive onto a curb, they should be wider and shorter.I got them in hopes they would be just tall enough to work as a tire changing ramp but since they weren't, I'm not even sure what to do with them.Someone else mentioned the holes being used to permanently bolt them to a garage floor. Maybe in the right place to hit them with your tires so you know you're in the right spot to stop and park kinda like that tennis ball hanging from the ceiling touching your windshield?Despite not really knowing what purpose they serve, they are strong and can hold a lot of weight if you drive up onto them so I can't give them a negative review just because they don't work for what I wanted them for.

We wanted car chocks for the garage, as the car leaves little space in front/behind it. We ordered these as they were longer than the others on Amazon. They arrived and the weight of them was a pleasant surprise! They are heftier than they look! Despite them not having any grip to hold them tight onto the garage floor, these chocks don’t move behind your tires! When we back up, the chocks stop the tires without moving! Gone are the days I back into the hubbies large metal tool box! LOL! (And no, we don’t have a back up beep in this car!). If you need chocks to keep the kids from backing too far in your garage, these will fit the job!! A great buy indeed!!

It works but I don’t like their style. They’re only a few inches wide at the most and 10-12” long, so a very small target to line up to. And the length makes them clumsy and something to trip on when the car is not there. Also relatively light. Would not buy or recommend.

I bought these thinking to use them as wheel chocks, however, once I received them, I don't think they will work very well for that because they are a hard plastic that could just slide along the ground when the tire pushes up against them. However, I am giving them 5 stars because they look like they would be good for the purpose that they are listed for - fastening them down to a shed or garage floor as a stopper so you know when you're in the garage far enough with your vehicle. They are a solid material with holes to run fasteners through and into the floor to hold them in place. I will probably end up using them as pre-ramps when driving my BMW up onto regular ramps to work on it. I can't just drive it directly onto the ramps or the bumper hits the ramps before the wheels start up the ramp. If I put these in front of the ramps, the wheels will go up onto these first, which will lift the front bumper enough to clear the ramps.

A lot of small vehicles like bikes and carts don’t have parking brakes, which is a problem in wind and trying to park on an incline, especially if there isn’t a nearby fixed structure to secure it to.These low profile chocks are the right size for smaller vehicles that don’t have much clearance around the wheels. The wheel chocks are fairly low friction, which can be a problem as they will skid when a moderate amount of force is applied to the cart you’re trying to keep parked. But chocks mainly work on and against gravity, plus the effective friction will increase when the vehicle is more heavily loaded and pressing down on it. So they won’t keep your vehicle from being dragged or pulled, but it absolutely works for parking on a moderate incline, and it works against the drivetrain if applied to the drive wheels of a powered vehicle. For many applications, you would also want less friction so its easier to slide the chocks in and out.In my picture, my scooter is stopped on a gentle grade. Even though the grade is not too steep, because the scooter has very low rolling resistance, it will roll back when no brakes are applied. Sliding the chock underneath, the scooter stays put, even when I board it.

We use these as wheel chocks when parking our work trailer. Our shop has a slight decline up to the shop door, so the trailer needs to be chocked or it could roll into the shop door. These have worked perfectly to chock the trailer securely on a paving stone surface. I'm not sure what they're made of, but are very heavy and seem practically bullet-proof. I use the angled end to chock the wheels, but the length of these can also be handy as a trailer-leveling block when paired together. Something I'll try out on our next RV camping trip.

I was expecting something a little wider so a car could drive up it but that was from skimming the details. So, I purchased some actual ramps and now I use these as wheel chocks which they work perfectly for. They are great for that purpose.
