Check engine light was on in my 2002 Isuzu Trooper for over a year. Finally, got around to switching out the EGR valve and cleaning out the port tube. No more check engine light! Gasket is thin metal but it worked.

Easy to install had to get a different seal for it but I put about 800 miles on my 98 Isuzu rodeo for the price it seems to be working at the moment

My truck ran smooth for a couple weeks and now it's rough again. The check engine light and egr code came back Monday. Scan reveals the valve is only open 5% of expected. I chose this one because of low price -and it came with the gasket, but the gasket is junk; not much thicker than tin foil. IWould've returned it, but got busy and missed Amazons 30 day limit to return defective junk.

Put this one into my Isuzu Trooper. Perfect fit, took about 10 minutes to replace. I removed the old gasket with a razorblade scraper. Have a ShopVac handy to remove all the old gasket shavings form the opening. The included metal gasket has NO instructions on which side is up. Worked nevertheless. Worth the $50 difference between the local automotive store and Amazon for exactly the same part. Thanks Amazon!
