Life saver for my wife and her Tesla. The first few months of getting into the Tesla was terrible. It was always hot and riding around was always hot as well.The shield was easy to install and it has held up since we installed it. Lightweight material and it blends in well with the interior.This is a great item to purchase to protect you from the heat and sun.

So I’m in Texas, it’s freaking hot, close to 110° this week. I work out of my model three and it was getting quite miserable sitting in a greenhouse.I needed something fast and the only color on prime was the star one.I got it the next day, no problems with deliveries.First off, the picture that is advertised is completely Photoshopped, but anybody would common sense can realize this. It’s primarily black, but it has woven metallic fibers in it, giving it a bit of a sparkle when it hits the light. Honestly, they should have just called it metallic. You really don’t notice it once it’s installed and it primarily just looks black.Let’s talk about how it comes out of the package. It’s folded up in a carrying case and is spring loaded very similar to a windshield screen. And let me tell you, it is in a bit of a bind when you pull it out. The moment I released it from its carrying case cage, it’s sprang to life and popped me right in the face. The immediate rage that I felt by getting hit in the face with an inanimate object was palpable. I took about a 15 minute break to calm down so I would not break anything and then I went back, calmly, to see about the installation. There are no instructions with this, but it’s pretty straightforward.Each shade is actually two separate layers. The first layer is what has the rigid frame (the black and metallic mesh). You install clips that are provided on the edge of the frame and it slides between the glass and the roof interior. This piece by itself is pretty much a window screen. The second layer goes between this piece and your glass. It’s a space blanket that is wrapped in a canvass material. It more or less “floats” between the screen and the glass. There are small sections of Velcro near the corners that help line it up with the screen.Once this is installed, it is no longer transparent.This is what creates the noise that you are seeing in the other reviews. Now it’s not crazy, but anytime you hit a bump, roll the window down, or hit certain frequencies of bass on your stereo, you hear the space blanket Crackling above your head. I’m guessing it’s because it floats above the screen and not actually fixed so it allows for a lot of movement.Overall, for the price, it does its job and certainly keeps the car cooler. Very similar to a sunshade on a windshield. I would not use this permanently, just something to get you by through the hotter months.

I bought this specifically because of how the look was advertised and of course it’s photoshopped but you’re not going to be staring at the roof the whole time you’re driving. What matters is that it really does keep the car cooler and prevents your leather seats from overheating. It does rattle a bit but you can’t hear it with music on, super easy to install but I wouldn’t buy any other products from this company nor would I recommend it without searching elsewhere first.

This sun shade fit nearly perfectly in my 2021 Tesla Model 3 long range. The value for the price is unbeatable. The clips fit securely, and give me confidence that this sun shade will stay firmly in place. Works definitely recommend. The only downside is that the rear shade is a bit long, thereby blocking a portion of the rear window. Not a deal breaker, but it would be better if the rear shade was about 6" shorter.

I installed this product witch does not come with instructions you will have to figure it out your self and after installing they say it will block the heat and keep it cool which is not true at all I did not notice any difference only thing it does is keep the direct sun away that’s it .

It took a second to figure out clips, but it fits great we use both layers and it completely blocks out the sun. Exactly what I wanted
