The build of this filter is the great and as expected from K&F. The glass in good and the frame is nice and solid. I have used k&F filters before and this filter is consitently good. At the highest ND there is abit of vignetting but its better then the blobby shapes you get from cheaper variable ND.Overall great to have a Black Diffusion with variable ND Combo.

I finally found an ND filter that fits my lens. I have some ND filters laying around my place but they don’t fit the lens I use. So it is good that I found this one and it actually works. I am happy with the quality and results of this filter. It does a good job bringing the contrast into a darker tone. I am happy with my purchase and it is very easy to use.

I love K&F filters and have several in my camera bag for different purposes. I got this filter for my 50mm Canon lens. Tried it out this morning under full, bright sunlight and have nothing to complain about. There are markings along the edge of the filter to help gauge how much light you are filtering out and like others said, there is a bit of vignetting at the high end of the ND range but if you are using that all the time then you probably should get a fixed ND filter which will eliminate the issue. Overall this filter works very well for my purposes.

Fits my 67mm lens nicely, and no major vignetting until you reach the highest ND level for the filter. Very interesting effects from this lens, too, real nice to work with.

Right out of the box, I was happy to see three sealed packages of microfiber towels included. I haven’t opened them yet, so I can’t comment on their quality, but knowing the brand, I’m optimistic they’ll be decent. The instruction booklet is simple and sturdy, but like so many these days, the font is maybe size 1.75? I’m not 18 anymore, but I’m not 90 either, and I really wish manufacturers would use a slightly larger font. That said, it’s still better than some manuals I’ve seen that look like they’re printed in microscopic text. The filters themselves come in what I’d call an industry-standard plastic case. It took me a minute to find the little notch to open it-if you’re struggling, look for the small notch on the top of the box, which is the side that opens. You can’t get your fingernail under it, so I just lifted a corner and it popped open. Not sure what the designers were thinking with that one. The filter is protected by dense foam, so no complaints about the protection. As you can see in the photos, there’s no handle for changing ND settings on the ring-it’s old school: just rotate the ring and try not to smudge the glass. The ring rotates continuously, so you can go from darkest to brightest and back again in either direction, which is nice. I’ve had variable ND filters before that didn’t have this infinite rotation, so this is a plus.I haven’t had a chance to shoot with it yet, but knowing the brand, I’m confident it’ll perform as advertised. For a product that arrives as described and without any major negatives, I always give four stars. Minor issues that don’t affect performance don’t cost a star in my book.

Dies beeinflusst meine Rezension in keinster Weise.

This is a fantastic variable ND filter with a built-in mist effect — something I’ve been wanting to add to my kit for a while. I own several fixed ND filters, but this one gives me the flexibility I need for changing light, and the built-in diffusion adds a subtle, dreamy softness to highlights that looks great in portraits and long exposures. It darkens significantly (listed as 1–9 stops), and in practice, it handles direct sunlight better than I expected. Great for waterfalls, skies, and timelapse work. Optically, it’s impressive — very clean results without noticeable color shifting or softness. One important thing to know: the physical size of the filter is slightly larger than the filter thread it's made for. For example, the 58mm version is closer in diameter to a 62mm filter, and this may interfere with using certain lens hoods. On one of my lenses, I wasn’t able to attach the hood either before or after mounting the filter. It’s mentioned in the listing, but I wanted to highlight it since it affects practical use in the field.Overall, a strong 4-star product with excellent performance — just be aware of the fit before pairing it with certain lenses or accessories.

Writing a review for a K&F product, irrespective of what it is, has become a bit of a chore, but in a good way, they decide they will make something , they make it, and it does exactly what they intended for it.This lens is no exception.I ordered 67mm to fit on my Neewer iPhone 15 Pro Max cage as I shoot with that setup almost daily, and this filter is the icing on what was already a very nice cake!Black mist and ND filters are the only filters I ever use, combining the lot in a single filter is a touch of genius. One issue I find with Variable ND filters in general is a tendency to vignette around the edges, thanks to the close machining tolerances and micro adjustability on this I can't say that it is much of an issue and any slight fringing is easy enough to fix in post anyhow.Just get it!How I Rate- ***** Don’t think, just buy it!- **** Nothing to complain about, I’d spend my own money on this.- *** Does what it should but there may be better alternatives- ** Problems or issues encountered that outweigh any benefits.- * Run for the door!

Overall you can never had enough ND filters and variable NDs are always handy...but while it's convenient to have 2-1 or 3-1 filters...I still want JUST A ND filter in my bag...so I question how much space this saves as I don't want to be forced into black diffusion if I'm on the road and really need ONLY an ND filter...so I carry both...but that defeats the purpose of saving space and fuddling in your bag for the right filter. It's subtle at a 1/4 diffusion but still not too keen on having it baked in and would prefer 1/8th to consider using as a main variable ND to "live" with black diffusion even when not needed.

This is such an excellent budget friendly option for a variable ND filter that has a 1/4 mist filter built in. It works great without creating any kind of weird color cast on the image. I’ve been using this for both photography and videography and I’m really impressed. likewise, the build quality is great and the filter threads easily onto the lens. Overall, I’m really happy with this. Highly recommended.
