The bushings are a very stiff composite rubber. Not very soft at all so you get some popping when the frame flexes

Used on a 2007 CC superduty. The kit came with extra bushings for extended cab and crew cab. I had extra pieces that were not used on installation. I first removed the front seats to allow rolling the carpet back to access the middle bushings. Then rethreaded the bolts in enough to use a punch to separate the bottom of the bushing from the top. This allowed ease of removal. A floor jack and a good stack of wood for spreading out the jack load across the cab pinch weld allowed for jacking up one side of the cab at a time. Best to lift close to the front seat area of the cab, between the second and third bushings to distribute weigh of cab. I didn't replace the core support bushings, the rubber was cracked from age and there wasn't enough room to hammer the bushings apart like the cab mounts. The rubber is harder than the 2nd and 4th bushing material. The 3rd bushing could've been reused, but chose to replace it. Overall, right sockets, and carefully placing bushings is best practice. These were at least a full inch smaller diameter than factory originals, but they work. Only time will tell if they will last.

The parts are great! Showed up less than 48hours and seem to be doing intendes job.Difficult install but thats to be expected.
