I installed the winch strap and found that the standard 1/4” forged hook that comes stock with KFI winches does not fit into the hole on the strap side. It was off by an 1/8”. I had to bore the hole open with a step drill. I feel the product shouldn’t need modified straight out of the package.

The rope for mounting needs to be longer for warn winches that come on arctic cat vehicles. Otherwise would have worked well.

This Snow blade lift is built very strong and takes the strain out of picking up a 6' snow plow blade. This makes cleaning my driveway very easy and saves time. The KFI synthetic plow lift does a great job and prevents ruining your recovery rope / cable.

Purchased in November and used it twice as we did not get a lot of snow this year. The stitching on the strap came apart and dropped the plow. Great concept, but the stitching is absolute garbage. Extremely disappointed in this KFI product. Here is the response from KFI customer service03.29.18HI Shane,I am very sorry to hear about the plow strap breaking. On the plow strap (105100) it takes about 2200 lbs. to rip the stitching. It is designed to protect your winch from hits and impacts and putting too much pull into your winch while plowing. You want to make sure you are lifting up straight, and not pull lifting it up towards you. Make sure you do not lift the blade while it is in the snow pile. Also make sure that you do not plow with any tension on the strap, or with the blade in the air, it is designed only to raise and lower the plow. If you do not want any winch protection you can always keep the strap tied onto the hook and use it as normal.Again, I am very sorry that the strap broke and unfortunately it is not covered under warranty as it is a wear item.Update 12.05.2019KFI has now increased the stitch points on this strap to 3 (from 2).And added an additional 1,000 pound break strength to the description. It now reads, "3,200 Pound break strength safety feature."Though I still do not trust a brand that does not stand behind its product, I wanted to acknowledge these changes.

After plowing for about 2 hours and then going down the road back home the stitching came out on the strap and the plow dropped to the road, the product didn't last very long.
