I really wanted to love this guitar. It looks awesome, has a roasted maple neck, string through and contoured body, and of course is a no brainer when it comes to cost. But playability out of the box was not great. Got a decent amount of fret buzz due to the action being set too low, and potentially a nut that is cut too deeply. Seems to be mostly affecting the low E and A strings so I plan to adjust the bridge barrels and see if that helps. Also when wearing it on a strap there’s definitely some neck dive. The body is light, which is nice, but makes it feel kind of out of balance IMO. Also the bridge barrels or saddles on mine are brass not steel like shown in the vendor’s picture. And the factory strings are absolute garbage, although that’s not uncommon. Finally, I’m disappointed in the bridge pickup. Neck one sounds pretty good, creamy and warm, but Tele style guitars are supposed to be about the bridge. This one's bridge pickup is pretty thin, lacks punch. The body contours are really nice, and I did not find any imperfections in the finish. All in all, I’m underwhelmed, but we’ll see how making some set up adjustments help. And if I keep it I will most likely be replacing the bridge PUP.

This Tele style is hard to beat for the price. Quality of the build and finish is very good. Frets were done nicely. I've had plenty of roasted maple guitars but this roasted mahogany is really good looking and smells good too. Had to adjust the truss rod a little out of the box, but that's it. Plays beautifully. Highly recommend
