My daughter loves this mat. My only issue with it is I purchased the Montessori wooden letters to go with it and they are too small for the lines on the mat. So we have to be a bit creative. It still works just get the mat first to decide which letters to get.

The mats are sturdy, and the students like how they know where to place the core of the letter(between the blue lines) so the long lines aka tall letters touch the red lines. So, it has helped several students understand to extend lines when physically writing :) Students like that the moveable alphabet letters don't slide.
