The Kichler 337010WH Fan/Light Dual Slider Control can be used with many Kichler ceiling fans to control a range of fan controls from a location on your wall the same size as your light switch or outlet receptacle. 337010WH can be used to complement the Cortez 52-Inch Ceiling Fan (300113TZ) which can be purchased separately, which is just one example that this wall control can be used with. This control operates up to 4 fan speeds, has full range dimming capacity, but controls only one fan and one light at a time. This control can run up to 1.25 AMP maximum, and requires a 3rd wire for installation. This can be purchased in two other finishes which can be purchased separately, Ivory (337010IV) and Almond (337010ALM). This is sold one per package and comes complete with the control, the faceplate, and all the hardware needed for installation. In any installation, the tips of the blades must be at least 18-Inch from the wall in order to provide sufficient clearance for the blades; and for safety reasons, the fan blades must be a minimum of 7-feet above the floor. This fixture is UL listed for a hardwire connection in a dry location. Most of the Kichler Decor ceiling fans include a CoolTouch Control System and coordinating lighting. The light switch works as expected as a dimmer, although the switch itself isn't smooth.The fan switch is useless. It sets to on or off, no changing fan speed.I swapped this with exact model dimmer switch that was 5 years old and dead.Overall, it's just not a good quality.Update: the dimmer stopped working shortly after I posted. This switch is junk. It’s expensive for something that was junk within 2 months

The light dimmer works fine. The 4 speed fan switch is what Kichler recommend on their 3 speed fan. To me the switch is backwards. The first setting (actually the second on the switch) is for high speed going progressively slower as you move the switch up. Additionally it does not have a very smooth action. I would give this part of the switch only 2 stars and the light dimmer 4 stars for my rating of 3. This is really to bad as their fan is great.

The light dimmer makes sense going from off at the bottom to full brightness at the top. The fan slider, however, has off at the bottom, then MAX SPEED right above it and it gets slower as you go up. While this technically works, it is unintuitive and inconsistent.Also, although it claims to have a white finish, it is off white so it will not match other white accessories you may have.

The switch works but the lights on the Kitchler fan aren't dimmable. I was a little disappointed but that's not the fault of the switch!

it would have gotten a five star if it was the same white as all other outlets and swicths. its like an off white that looks terrible when you have it in a three gang box with two other WHITE swicths.

The switch was the style we needed, but the color was off. It was not a white and did not match other outlets in the house.
