In the early 2000's, car audio competition was thriving, and KICKER was dominating the lanes - winning world championships both in sound pressure and sound quality. Leading the charge was Alma Gates, her legendary “Beast" Bronco, and the KICKER Competition Group. We watched the KICKER Competition Group collect a seemingly endless streak of awards, earning trophy after trophy – championship after championship – all while using high-power-handling, high-efficiency SOLOX Subwoofers.

Extreme Build

The KICKER L7X SOLOX is built like no other!

Triple stacked ferrite motor for precision tuned motor strength and optimum mechanical clearances.
Dual spiders spaced apart on engineered landing to provide stable control of the cone assembly through its entire travel.
Dual voice coil wound on aluminum former using the latest in high strength adhesives provides wiring flexibility and durability.

Those Ribbed Corners

Square subwoofers provide up to 20% more cone area than similarly sized round subwoofers, and as MBE says "Cone area is king!". To get all the advantages of a square and maximum excursion requires KICKER's patented rib corners. And the L7X SOLOX takes this to the extreme! Square design + Ultra Long Throw = Extreme SPL at the lowest frequencies.

Big Motor, Big Output, Big Cooling

The motor structure on the KICKER L7X SOLOX is HUGE, to give you all the motor strength, mechanical clearances and cooling Big Bass requires. Heat is the enemy of endurance so the L7X is designed using the best cooling possible by including Forced-Air Cooling Forced-Air Cooling, developed by KICKER engineers, helps subwoofers run cooler and play louder, longer!

Extreme Performance - Extreme Repair

The KICKER L7X SOLOX is designed for big power, deep bass and extreme output; utilizing the latest technology backed by KICKER's 50 years of legendary design intelligence. Our engineers are breaking things and learning how to improve them all the time! So what happens if you let the magic smoke out of yours when you go one click too far on the volume knob? You rebuild it! KICKER offers Recone Kits for each model and impedance of the L7X SOLOX subwoofer. You can then easily remove the soft part assembly (surround, cone, spider, voice coil, etc.) by removing the assembly screws and by utilizing KICKER's NEW alignment pin system, get a perfect fit, every time, without glue! You can be back up and running in minutes, not days! See below for specific rebuild kit model numbers. Oh, and they are model/impedance specific! You must use the same recone kit impedance as your subwoofer came new, you can't swap impedances around.

Well my experience with kicker support has failed me and i will no longer buy or promote this nonchalant attitude of support they have.Clearly I have a manufacture issue they are refusing the warranty. It is the principal and I am getting ready to launch a freakin campaign on this.After spending and promoting this. I feel betrayed. I also believe there is more to this when they made this judgment call.
