These fit my 6 year old's hands very well (which are larger than normal), and she loves that the mitten parts tuck away into the wrist part. They're pretty lightweight gloves, so I wouldn't have her play for an extended period of time in them, but they're fine for school recesses or general fall-winter-spring use in the PNW where we live. They don't snap together for storage, which I prefer to keep track of pairs more easily, hence 4 stars. Would recommend for general use in moderately cold temps.

My 7yo is very sensitive to bulky gloves. She always chooses hand knit mittens which get soaked quickly while playing in the snow. She loves these. More water resistant than knit but she can still use her hands. Likely wouldn't be warm enough for a day of skiing but much better for school recess or afternoon outdoor play than thin knit gloves.

These gloves/mittens are great for kids. When I handed them to my dudes, the oldest, 10, said ”initiating mitten-mode” after putting the mitten over the glove. I think they are great for school, not winter sports in super cold temps. LOVED the name tags and clip that keeps them together!!

My daughter loved these for fall. It was so easy to tuck the cover in or use it to cover her fingers. We got pink and loved the color.
