This is more of a shadow box for 3d items, rather than for paper art projects. The reason I say this is because the box is deep, and there are cute lights and all, but there is nothing to make the main picture stay to the front, right behind the plexiglass. The straps to hold things in are in the back of the box and would go over papers. I would like to have a way to store old art in the back, but have the new art attached to the front so it can be displayed easily. So it may make a better shadow box than paper art display.

This art frame is such a great idea! My child absolutely loves it – she drew one of her favorite pictures just to put inside. The built-in LED light really makes her artwork stand out, and she was so proud to see it “on display.”It’s a fun and encouraging way to get kids more interested in drawing and being creative. The frame itself is easy to use and looks great on the wall. Definitely a nice gift or addition to a kid’s room!

I really try to encourage the kids to be proud of the art that they create which is why I think this frame is such a wonderful idea. It is for all intents and purposes a shadow box with lighting and it does have straps in the back. My only gripe is that there is nothing to actually hold the displayed picture in front. I feel like I am going to have to get creative here in order for the picture displayed to look the way that I want it to. I'm thinking maybe a piece of plexiglass cut to the same size so that the picture is held securely between the front glass of the frame and the additional plexiglass. I feel that in that area it needs some improvement. Other than that, the frame is very cute and since she loves purple, I was happy it was offered in that color. 4 out of 5 stars

Good concept but needs improvements. I love that this frame is not glass, but plexiglass making it durable. I was not expecting needing to slide the piece of plexiglass out to put pictures in. I also do not like that the frame is missing a border on one side, to allow you to pull the plexiglass out.. it makes it look like a piece has broken off. It does look much better in landscape because it puts the uneven border ontop, making it less noticeable. I would also recommend a different kind of led light strip as this one you can see and looks tacky.
