This is a fun set for a kid - but I'm thinking it's more suitable for like under the age of 6 as it isn't like super sturdy or challenging - so I was slightly disappointed with it in that regard. I do think it's fun for the younger child though as bright color and shark themed. Helps with hand/eye coordination and learning beginning marksmanship. It's obviously a decent price point for what you get, so could easily be a gift for someone.

The "target board" is a light weight felt like fabric stretched across a wire that can easily be folded away, similar to some sun shades for car windows. The set included a hook but its so lightweight it can be hung on a thumb tack. I hung the board on an over the door hook. All of the arrows, darts, & discs have that new type of Velcro that sticks better than what is usually on toddler shoes. I tested this out before letting the little littles at it & I was really impressed with how easily the ammo all stuck to the target on the first try. The only down side is the arrow bag is made of a pvc plastic that has a permanent fold in it from it's initial packing. If the bow isn't held right the string can smack the hand when released but it's not too bad & can be avoided with holding it right. The littles love it & can easily play on their own. Might need to get another set since they do have to take turns or have one person with the bow & another with the nerf gun.*The bow has a battery compartment to make it light up at the touch of a button. It does not need batteries to play with the arrows, only for the light up feature. When I initially opened the batter compartment I put one battery in not realizing the battery slides back to to fit 2 batteries (not included)Value: This kid's archery set is currently listed at $19.99 USD which seems like a decent price considering that it includes 3 different games but only enough for one child to play with it at once.

My son has been wanting to get into bow and arrow and this is a great winter/indoor toy. It comes with a cool bow, and several different types of arrows including nerf like and velcro for target shooting. The bow holder and targets are easily affixed by included adhesives to a wall. Just make sure you use protective eye wear to be safe!

The Kids Bow and Arrow set is fun and colorful! It's great for kids who want to play with a bow and arrow in a safer manner. The set is colorful and has cute graphics. I ordered the shark set and it has been a great way to get the young ones off the screen.
