I got this for my 8 year old daughter. Like most kids her age, she's not a fan of the dark. Especially at bedtime. This little fox lantern gives her a source of light that she can control and that is cheerful. She LOVES animals and really loves foxes AND pink is her favorite color. So it's a win/win. The light is plenty bright and it can be used as a lantern or as a flashlight. The flashlight mode shines through the foxes eyes! I mean, come on!This little lantern has survived several months of hard use and a road trip across the country. I would recommend this lantern to anyone with a little kid who is afraid of the dark and needs their on light source.

We love this. The fox design is so cute and the colors are bright and vibrant. The light works really well. We love how the lantern shines from the body of the fox, and then the eyes light up for a flashlight! The headlamp fits really comfortable on my little ones heads, the band is thick and wide so it is very soft and doesn't hurt at all. The best part is that the eyes will glow in the dark after you turn off the light! It's so cool! The battery lasts a really long time, too. Perfect for kids camping and everyday fun!

Bought this for my granddaughter for a Christmas present. I love that you can control the lights in the eyes separate from the lantern. The head lamp is also a plus and it's rechargeable, so no batteries! The lantern does require batteries.
