I purchased this hat for my grandson and he love it . The bugs did not bite him or bother him while we were on our camping trip and on our canoe trip. It is great as he can also wear his hat with out the netting.

I am a large woman with a small head. In helmets I wear an xs. I'd been looking for a hat like this for my work as a dog groomer to prevent eating hair during blowouts. The ad shows older kids wearing the hat and since my hat size is basically child size, I figured I'd try it. The net fits fine but the hat is way too small for me. I will be keeping the net for work and sending the hat to my baby grandson to keep the sun out of his face this summer. Really cute baby hat but I would guess it would be too tight for kids over 7.

This is a nice sun protection hat, UPF 50+, with a mosquito net included. The hat has an adjustable strap under the chin and also has an adjustable strap just above the brim. It fits my 5 1/2 year old granddaughter well and she has a large head. Thee are snaps on the brim so you can snap the sides to the cap portion. The net just goes over the top of the hat and comes down to below the shoulders. The net is good to keep mosquitoes and bugs away from your face.

This is a cute little sun hat! I like that it is a neutral color, so that it goes with any outfit my son wears. The design is simple and classic. There is a bit of elastic at the back, which makes it easy to put on and take off the hat without having to unbutton the strap. My son has no problem wearing it, so I think it must be relatively comfortable for him! I like that it folds down easily and washes up nicely. I can toss it in the diaper bag and take it out when I need it, and it looks great! I prefer using a sun "barrier" like this when I can, rather than using sunscreen, as it's so much quicker and I don't have to worry about expiration dates or chemicals.
