It does NOT keep a sleepy carseat kid's head fron hitting their chest... my kid was 4 years old, 42 inches tall, and about 45 lbs when we tried this on a road trip. Yes we "installed" it properly- first of all, while awake, she said it was uncomfortable.. we put it on her after she fell asleep in the car- and her head still fell. I don't think this design is the right way to keep their head up.

We take trips with our buds and we felt bad about our littles head always falling to the side. This helps so much!! Of course he has to fall asleep before we put it on but totally worth it!!

I bought this for my 3 year old for road trips. It has the magnetic piece for the neck, it's super soft and not too big!

This pillow is for my 3 and 6 year olds and they love it. Fits great. The magnet doesn’t hold well in the front but isn’t necessary for the functionality. Material is super soft and easy to wash
