Thicker material, better stitching and better cuffs versus other mittens in this price range. Thumbs seem to fit and have space — have had issues with other kids mittens being unwearable due to poorly sewn or proportioned thumbs.

I got these before stores had winter items so for an amazon buy they are okay. But I found two pair for the same price at target. They are long. I sized down. What I really like that I bought for fall are Amazon dozen knit gloves for $12. I got the set that are half black because the pastels get so dirty. But 5 year old gd will mix and match them and have fun. She wears those for play and to put on stuffed animals.

Got them for my daughter, they are too big for her but I didn't want them to be too small so I ordered a x-large she is eight and they will let her grow into them if they last to next year. She wore them to feed cows with her dad today and said they are very warm and the only part of her that wasn't cold when she came in. thanks!

The quality and warmth is much better than what I expected. These are very warm and both my son and I could easily slip our hands in without the inner lining getting twisted and bent. They do run large. My son is almost 8 so I ordered the large listed as being for ages 6-8. I could have gone with a size smaller but they are not so big that they will not work.

Very nice gloves. I purchased the large 6-8 year old size and they’re huge. They still work for my 6 year old and will for many years. He used them skiing last weekend and they kept his hands warm and dry all day. These replaced a more expensive pair of Columbia gloves that only lasted a year and started to tear at the seams. These seem better quality than his old ones and are actually waterproof. Highly recommend.

Unfortunately when I received these mittens they were much too big for my 4 year old to wear. I gave them 5 stars because the mittens are a great quality and appear to be very durable. I reached out to the seller and their response and refund came very quickly. I will definitely order these again when our kids get a little bigger.

My son is 6 years old so I purchased the large size 6-8 and they are definitely too big, I can wear them. They fit a little better if from the wrist up can be tucked securely into the sleeve the his jacket but he cannot do this on his own at school and if just put on without being tucked in they don't really stay on his hand well and he cannot do much with them. I'm gonna try ordering the next size down and see how they fit. They are made well and great quality so I'd like to find a pair that fit.

After buying actual winter snow gloves for our 8 and 7 year old, we realized just how much of a pain it was to get them going in the morning for school. They're both above average in height, so all the mittens that we could find locally were way too small for them. On a whim, I looked on Amazon and found these in a size x-large. They are beyond perfect for both of them. There is even plenty of room for them to grow into them, and the price point was very reasonable. I can even wear a set if absolutely necessary--- although it'd be a tight fit. Thank you so much Tough Outfitters for coming up with a great product at an amazing price. We will definitely be repeat customers.
