1st off, thank you to the company for making this affordable and truly UL. The wgt on my scale is exact to what they claim. Other companies haven't been so accurate. Now if they only made a tarp to go with that is just as light or close, I would be fully happy. Unfortunately their tarp says 2lbs. I'm trying to get a tarp, hammock & straps to be under my 2lb tent to make it worth replacing in venomous snake territory so they don't curl up under my tent at night. Very happy with the quality, design, price and weight of this hammock though. It can even be made lighter yet by replacing the ends with something lighter but for now it is light enough as is so ill leave it.

I wanted the smallest, lightest, no-frills hammock I could find to take with me hiking the Kalalau Trail in Hawaii. Two days of hiking, 25 miles on some crazy terrain, pack everything in, pack everything out....I didn't want to carry anything more than necessary! I am so glad I brought the hammock though, as it was a great way to relax and rest after a long day of hiking. Quality is great, and I would gladly get another one!

Ultra lightweight! Toggle attachments at each end. Packs down to the size of a softball. Don't forget to buy tree straps, and you are ready to relax anywhere you can find two trees fairly close to eachother!

I first saw this hammock at Walmart and was instantly impressed with its light weight and size compressed. I knew I needed to have one. After I bought it, I found it on Amazon for 1/3 the price so I bought several and returned the walmart one. I am not a hammock sleepe buy I do enjoy lounging around in a hammock during the day while camping. The light weight size and bulk makes it possible to sleep in a tent but cary this hammock for day use. For me it serves the best of both worlds.
