7018's have a heavy slag, good laydown and fill and do not do well with contamination. These have a light slag, poor flow with high beading and go through contamination without gas bubbles. After 30 years of welding, these are not 7018. Maybe a 6000 series stick, as in cheaper, but definitely not a 7018. Thanks for the scam.
