My family has property in the mountains, and getting there can be quite a chore. there have been a number of occasions where tree fall, or rock fall which has prevented forward movement. That is why I jumped on the opportunity to get this tow rope. Having a way to self-rescue in case of an wilderness event is invaluable, especially when cell reception is spotty at best.The item came packed very well, almost over packed. There was absolutely no chance that the product was going to get damaged in transport. Inside the box is a gas to hold the tow rope and accessories when not in use. It is made from a decent quality nylon that should withstand a reasonable amount of abrasion. Inside the bag is the tow rope and a set of soft shackles. The material and build quality is very good. There were no loose threads or indication that the rope would not meet the tasks it is rated for. Wrapping and unwrapping the rope shows it to be of considerable length; longer than I expected. I will consider this a bonus as it allows for more versatility. It does pack down easily enough to put it back in its bag. I used a roadie-wrap technique which makes deployment a breeze.Overall, I am very happy with my order. I feel that this tow rope should serve me well during this summers outdoor adventures. If there is anything negative to report back, I will adjust my review, but as of now, I can reasonably recommend this rope for those who travel off-road and need effective tools for self-rescue.

Amazing rope! It is strong, sturdy and will literally pull a semi out of a jam. I Love that it comes with a bag to carry it all in. I take it with me in any vehicle I am in, including my four wheeler and side-by-side.

I have no idea why my last review didn't get put through. Maybe because I used a word to describe this rope that everyone calls it? The filters are much too strict. But this rope is about the same level of quality as the one you'd get from a big box store. These are so handy to have because they take the initial hit out of the line so you don't rip the bumper off your truck that easily.

This rope is no joke. I used it for a stuck pickup on a muddy trail, and it didn’t flinch. Got this to be recovered if I need to be. I got stuck once and didn’t have the proper equipment needed. I like the soft, self tighten shackles and the quality of rope included. I also like the bag it comes in with extra room for a few additional devices. Overall very pleased with the product and quality.

This set is awesome. The rope is absolutely the thickest and strongest rope I've ever had. The bag is nice and and the shackles are great too. Don't hesitate if your looking for a rope strong enough to pull out almost anything.

1: In Action: We know ropes and fibers from crane rigging. We also know domestic and international manufacturers of fibers. This is a quality nylon rope good with a lot of stretch. The shackles are UHMWPE, and they passed the float test. The eye loops on the main recovery length are sealed inside big shrink tube, so we can’t see the industrial stitching and don’t know what kind of fiber was used for it. We will end up through sewing with some 1mm UHMWPE for piece of mind. Comes in a good bag that fits in our jack compartment, and is compact.2: Why do we want it? Trucks and rigging.
