This thing is super cool. I need to work with it much more to get to it's full potential, but it's really fun.

Nice compact unit, I have limited space. The drum sanding sleeve works great, the bulbs have a lot to be desired, but I must say it is way over priced. Now I must say after using it for a few weeks now, the little hand pump has a lot to be desired, it only pumps air at bottom 1” of stroke!

Great idea but the balloons don’t stay full of air. Dremel works better. Use it 2 times and 2” round has a hole in it. Long cylinder won’t stay full of air. Having to keep stopping my work to fix the balloons. I wouldn’t buy this. Too expensive for the quality.

I love the sander. Only thing I have a problem with is pumping air in the the rubber inflatable sanders that hold the sanding sleeves. It is awkward and cumbersome to hold the pump in the correct position to manually pump air into the sander. Once you finally get it inflated with the sander sleeve on it, it is awesome the job it does for wood or in my case, the inside of a gourd. Makes them truly competition ready. If you buy one you will love it!

I have a lot of tools from King Arthur and they work well. I decided to purchase the Guinevere sander. I plugged it in the minute I received it, and it just hummed, the shaft would not turn. I called KA Tools and Carl told me occasionally when they're painted, some paint will get on the shaft and it'll get stuck, but sometimes you can break it loose by hand turning the shaft. I tried this, and told him the shaft would turn, but not without a lot of effort. He said they'd send a new one out right away along with a return label, so I could return the bad one in the same box when I got the new one.Today, a week later, I called to see why I hadn't received a new one yet. Apparently they "assumed" I fixed it myself because I hadn't contacted them again. Carl DID say if I got it to work, let them know, but I didn't feel like I should take apart and tinker with a brand new tool. And apparently their policy has changed since our conversation, as they don't send out the new tool until I return the junk that doesnt work.In todays Amazon world, I am appalled at the customer service from KA Tools. Carl continued to argue with me to the point I had to hang up. I'll just return it to Amazon and let them deal with it.

I bought this because I am getting into hand carving spoons and trying to sand the bowl of the spoon...needless to say it took a toll on my fingers hand sanding and the time it took for one spoon was several hours. With this thing it's minutes, 5 minutes to get the ridges out to shining spoon bowl. It's so quiet too go from the noise of the orbital sander to this, it's heaven. I've used some of my dremel bits in the chuck too. Not designed to do it but worked like a charm! Money well spent if you need a sander to get into those spots that were typically only accessible by hand sanding.
