I have a medical condition and one of the most aggravating symptoms is reduced by sunlight and I can stop one medication during the summer if I can get the sunlight. So having something comfortable I can lie in and get sunlight in every direction is important to me. (I sun back and sides as well as the front.)Functionality: I can get up off it with no problem. I tore up a leg last fall trying to get up out of my previous chair. I peeled back the skin over my knee and had scrapes and cuts and bruises all down that leg ending with a bunch on my toes. (I had it on concrete and actually fell into a well window.) I don’t clot well, so it was a big deal. I began looking then for something more suitable and decided to try this one.I worried about the padding making it hot. It is no different than my old mesh one that is too low to the ground for me to get out of now.Size: Didn’t expect the extra width to be enough to make a difference. I was wrong. For the first time, I have something I can lie in any position comfortably. (I am 5’9” and 210 lbs.) The size is perfect. It is actually larger than what I need but I like the extra room.The little pocket that hangs down the side wasn’t a selling point for me, but it is handy. I can slide my cell phone down into it and it is out of the sun and therefore doesn’t overheat. (I listen to it while laying out.)Adjustment capability: Is a little tough to set up, but if you want something strong and sturdy, you can’t have it both ways. I’m not strong and I can fix it by myself, so it isn’t too difficult.There are only 2 things I can recommend for improvement and 1 is to have a snap or velcro on that pocket on the side so you can secure each pocket with something in it. It would be nice to have 2 places to secure it so you can pull it up as it is now and also have the option to secure it higher from the ground.Also a place for one’s face to make lying on the stomach comfortable would be so great. I am managing without it right now, but I would pay more for one with that particular feature.I don’t have a pool, so I can’t address anything regarding getting it wet. Otherwise, I highly recommend it.

DO NOT BUY THIS CHAIR. The issue with it is the back adjustment procedure. IT IS NOT adjustable from the sitting position. You have to get out of the chair, go to the back and set the adjustable back rest in the position you think you want, then use a flimsy Velcro strap on both sides to hold it into position (it will not stay in position unless you use these straps, it folds up on you...), then get back in chair and if still NOT where you want it, get out and start all over. Also, I returned this chair for this reason. BEWARE. I took it to UPS and wanted to pay the shipping (it's fairly heavy 20 lbs) or if shipping charge is too expensive, keep and donate it. UPS said they couldn't allow me to pay, it had to go to Amazon and they paid the charge. Well, I just received the credit... Chair cost total 83.74. They charged me return shipping of 77.95. So a credit of 5.46 was refunded. What a RIP OFF VENDOR. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS VENDOR "OVERWHELMING" Unbelievable. ALSO chair is very heavy

I love the chair I just received. The only thing that I don’t care for is that it folds too easily and I have to be careful moving it around. So far I've had no issues sitting in it. Aside from this minor issue, it's great.

Bought this chair 05/01 and used it for 14 days before the plastic pieces on one of the legs started to crack and break so the chair does not work anymore. 14 days. I use it for one hour per day in the sun and the rest of the time the chair is stored in the shade. I have requested a replacement thinking it was just a bad batch of chairs. I will wait for the replacement to come in and update the review if the replacement chair lasts longer than 14 days. Amazon is becoming almost unusable with so much faulty merchandise from China.

First time using this lounge chair I was face down. I feel the top end slowly falling down. The plastic "elbow" of the legs broke and I fell face down with lower body still "up". I will be returning this chair. Sad thing is, I liked the height and width of this since I have multiple motorcycle injuries with pins and plates in me.

Like the size but the head and feet legs don't lock in. It is wobbly. Have to check the legs before you sit or lay down.

I love this chair! It is higher off the ground making it easier to get up off it!!!! It is roomy with a side pocket to put you lotion or whatever in it. Adjustable back for comfort, you can lay flat fir tanning or sit at any height for leasure. No assembly required.i wished it was a little cheaper but i guess the price is about average. East to fold and carry and comfortable!
