The product itself seems fine…haven't actually used it yet. My comments are related to it being severely damaged upon arrival. I had the option to review the packaging but it seemed OK. I can only assume the damage was done prior to it being packed in the Amazon box. The lid had four dents on the sides warping it so it would not fit the pot. The pot itself has several dents in it also. I was able to bend and pound things back into place to make an appropriate fit, but this seems unacceptable. The work it would take to return it is not worth it. I Believe we can make it work.

Cooked 5 turkeys in this guy so far, works good. Everything you need (other than oil) comes in the box.Timer is annoying, turns off and needs to be reset every 20 mins, and if the single AAA battery dies you get ZERO gas flow. Almost had a bit of a problem when it died mid cook and couldnt find any extra AAA batteries. Will be deleting/bypassing this unit before my next cook.Paint on the stand created an awful smell and burnt off on the first use, but it's stable and works and that matters more to me. Just set it up and get the paint burnt off before having guests over

Excellent and well priced turkey fryer. The burner is sturdy and the flame is VERY strong. The kettle is plenty big and the included turkey stand works great. If anything, I would like a better thermometer the one that ships is fairly cheap (you get what you pay for), you can easily turn the nut on the base and mess up where the needle rests. You then have to guess where it points when resting which could throw off the temperature by 50F-100F... Granted, frying isn't exactly a precise science...

Not bad for the super dirt cheap price. Mine came bent up as it didn't seem much thicker than heavy duty foil and the timer mechanism on the gas only lasted a few weeks. But it did the job.

I was most impressed with the burner unit on this turkey fryer. It looks and feels strong. I knocked off a star because the material for the pot is not very thick and the pot itself appears flimsy. It still works great. I got the oil up to temperature and enjoyed my turkey an hour later. Clean up was also easier than I thought it would be.

This was a gift to a person who hunts. He said the pot was thin, not heavy duty enough to put a 20 pound turkey in. It is good to fry fish.

Works great, Recommend a 12 lb turkey and under. I fried a 15 lb turkey and was having some oil spill over the pot. Make sure you to remove all moisture from the turkey prior to frying. When frying up to 350 degrees turn off the flame for a few minutes till the turkey is in the oil and some spill over stops. Overall best turkey I have ever cooked and under one hour.

Came with many dents in the pot, no time to return so hammered it out. The pot is paper thin and over the heat the bottom of the pot started sagging and I was concerned it might begin to leak.Threw it all in the trash when finished, would not recommend.
