Well made. It’s strong in both the material and the frame. Comes in a small bag. Folds up easily and stores small. I like it a lot. My only criticism is that every once and while a leg will collapse out of the blue. It seems to lock fine but for some reason it will unlock. I haven’t figured out how/why it happens. I just roll out, kneel, and it takes just a few seconds to re-open and climb back on so I haven’t cared enough to worry about it, lol. Great product overall.

The hotel we were staying at didn’t have a cot so we purchased this in a pinch for my 10 yr old daughter. I didn’t think the directions were all that great. There were just pictures, and they didn’t get into how much force was needed to snap the legs in between the long bars. I returned to the Amazon page for this product, to see if there was an assembly video. The video is extremely deceiving. The woman very easily snaps the legs into place. I gave it a shot, and thought for sure I was doing something wrong. (I’m very handy, and I have assembled 1000 pieces of furniture.) Once I got my husband involved, I watched him struggle as he applied so much force that I thought for sure he was going to break it. In the end, we did not break the product assembling it, and my daughter thought it was quite comfortable. It served its purpose, but I would not buy this again due to the assembly issues. I have a feeling it won’t last very long.

Spencer Aircraft resold these for a few years in their pilot shop for a much higher price, this year they didn't list them on their website so I bought this before leaving for Airventure. This has the exact same aluminum and plastic structure, slightly different fabric sleeping surface and storage bag. It's the same level of comfort, and I expect it to last as long. We only use it once a year, for a week at a time, so unless something unusual happens I expect it to last several years. Great price, easy to setup/take down, very compact in its storage bag. much preferable to sleeping on foam pads or therm a rest pads. if you're over 250lb, use some kind of pad on top, you might bottom out the fabric on the support bars and get a minor bruise across your back. this isn't a flaw in design, just at the outer limit of usability. still more comfortable to sleep on than pads on the ground.

As someone who has tried so many different sleeping pads/mats, I really wanted to like this cot. However, despite following the video recommendations on how to "properly" assemble the cot it was frustrating to say the least, especially since I was stuck in a torential downpour. Three of the legs would not lock despite using a considerable amount of strength/force. And I'm 6'0 190 lbs and a pretty strong guy. There is absolutely no way my wife could have assembled this on her own.The worst part of this whole experience was once I was able to finally lock all four legs (miraculously not snapping the hinges or breaking the levers) the cot was warped. In other words, the mat was buckled. A HUGE waste of time and money. That said, and in reading the amount of inconsistent reviews, I may have received a defective version (?). Unfortunetaly, the return/exchange period has passed. I should have asembled it prior to my trip (my bad) so that I would have learned in advance how incredibly flawed the design/engineering/qulaity is. control

Super pleased with this camp bed. It has made the world of difference to my camping sleep quality. I didn't want to pay the big bucks for the high end market leader and based on others recommendations went for this one.Very well made indeed with quality materials throughout. It does take a bit of beef to assemble and the instructions are a little lacking but there is an excellent assembly/disassembly video on you tube if you look for it. Recommended.

My wife and I had been taking a queen size air mattress camping, but it was wearing out after nearly 10 years of use.... leaking air overnight, causing us to roll into each other, etc. Before going with another air mattress, we decided to try out a couple of cots. Tried this one against a heavier (and cheaper) Coleman one, and decided we really like this one.Pros:- Small and Lightweight - we're car campers, but you could potentially take this backpacking if you want more comfort & insulation than just a sleeping pad. For us, the fact that it packs down small makes it easy to put two of them into a Rubbermaid bin and bring along.- Quick Assembly - took us a couple times to get the hang of it, but once you do, you can put it together in about 2 minutes.- Sturdy - I never had any concern about the cot not holding me, and it doesn't sag at all.- Elastic Straps - if you have a sleeping pad, you can easily secure it to the cot so it doesn't move around. This is brilliant and something that really sold the cot for us. (My wife even uses it to keep her pillow from sliding off the head of the cot.) This may not matter to you if you don't intend to use a sleeping pad along with the cot, but we're getting older and comfort counts for more than it used to.Cons:- Price - it's about double what a decent (but heavier/bulkier) cot would cost you.- Height - one thing I liked about some other cots is that they were bed height - easy to get into & out of, and provided ample room for storage under the cot. This one does not offer that. Wasn't a deal-breaker for us, but if you want something at bed height, this isn't for you.

I wanted to replace an old, very noisy camping cot. This cot attracted me because it's compact and light weight qualities opened up a lot of possibilities. I find it meets my needs very capably. It sets up and dismantles quickly (less than 5 min.) and easily (after watching the youtube video, which makes it so simple and clear), it is quiet and very comfortable to sleep on, and altho the 4 lbs doesn't feel as light in reality as it did in my imagination, it will still be possible to take this along on more distant travels. I'm not sure how I will carry it for air travel as I'd prefer not to check luggage, but this may not pass the carry on standards....I will likely be willing to check a small bag thru that contains this and my pad and bag. I will bring it everywhere so I can always have a comfortable bed wherever I travel! I am very happy with my purchase!

Its expensive but good. I go to a lot of festivals and this is a good buy. Light, small and reasonably comfortable (not fantastic). Better than lugging inflatable mattress etc. It feels well made.Im 6 ft 1 inch and approx 13 stone and copes with me absolutely fine.
