A handy item when you're going camping in remote areas or without facilities. This shower will come in handy for cleaning up after swimming or when you're in need of a shower after a long hike or a couple of days of camping. There's some nice features about this shower, it has a large capacity yet it packs down pretty small. There is a temperature gauge on the outside that is pretty accurate. I put in water that I tested with a digital thermometer at 112°. After sitting for a couple of minutes the thermometer on the outside of the shower said it was 104°. Probably a pretty good indicator when you're out camping. You won't get surprised by getting an ice cold shower when you were expecting something a little warmer. One problem I did have was attaching the hose to the shower bag. It is a very tight connection and the piece coming out of the shower bag the hose slides over is not very rigid so I was getting a lot of movement as I was trying to put the two pieces together including some thinking that I was afraid was going to break the connection off. Hung maybe 2 ft above your head would provide adequate water flow from the nozzle. Based on my testing it should be adequate for two people to shower including washing their hair. Probably not something you're going to take a luxury long hot shower with but enough to get wet, lather up and rinse off for maybe two adults potentially three if you're quick. Overall I'd recommend this for emergency use when you need shower facilities and there's none available and for camping trips when you're staying off the beaten path.

This review is based on the price of $30 at the time of acquisition. Seems a bit high for what you are getting. I had high hopes for this item, it is sturdy, strong handle, nice large screw on cap & durable material. BUT falls short with the hose. I realize that it states "removeable hose", that's great. BUT there is NO shut off at the valve where the hose connects. So, say you want to fill it up, put it in a sunny spot to warm up during the day - then move it to your hanging shower spot....well the host must be attached!! this is a HUGE inconvenience & basic design flaw IMO. There should be a shutoff at the valve where the hose attaches. Otherwise, you risk the hose becoming detached and the entire contents leaking out (think putting it in your car dashboard or similar area to warm up all day then coming back to your water filled car). Or you want to put it in your back window while driving all day to warm up to use later that night? This is such a flaw that if that were fixed I'd give it a 5 star. But for now - NO.

A good, simple camping shower. So many of them now include pumps and heaters, which is fine if you are consistently able to charge/power them. But if you are off-grid, this is great. Get some decent sunlight and you have a warm shower; get some weak sunlight and you will be incentivized to have short shower.There is no battery, so don't worry about power.It produces a decent flow, though it is hydrostatic pressure, so expect it to get weaker as the bag empties.The bag seems durable enough. Don't expect it to survive being dragged over rocks.For the money, it's a great set up. Just be gentle with the connection to the bag.

This solar shower is simple and effective. You just fill it with water, hang it over your head and use the nozzle to spray yourself down. The cap doesn’t leak (crucial) and the water gets quite warm if you leave it out in the sun. The water doesn’t spray out with much force because it’s gravity fed but it’s enough to rinse off. The construction seems good so I’m hoping it’s durable. The downside of this solar shower is that you have to have a place to hang it that’s high enough and strong enough to support this bag because it’s heavy when full. Sometimes finding something that meets those criteria is challenging. Also, at $30 it seems a bit pricey for what you get.

There are quite a few things to like about this solar shower bag. First five gallons will give you enough water for two quick showers. Bag is light weight empty but quite heavy when full (over 40lbs). Because of the weight and length of a full shower bag don't expect to hang this bag from most shower tents. There have been no leaks so far. The large fill opening is nice, making it easier to fill and helps with drying out. The transparent backside is also a plus as it lets you see water level and when you finally get it dried out. Hose and nozzle worked fine but its not easy to install hose or take it off. The temperature gauge is also a useful addition. Three or four hours in the sun warms the water quite nicely in most environments (but get that shower before the sun goes down). You have to hang this bag quite high if you don't want to be stooping significantly while taking a shower. This shower bag is good for emergency preparedness and camping when better options are not available. Overall quality and design seem quite good. Durability is still a question mark but I have found the KingCamp brand of products to have a good balance of quality, durability and price.

It’s always nice to be able to take a warm shower when camping and this portable shower will give you that opportunity. It comes with a good sized, heavy duty rubber water bag, hoses, etc. All you need to do is put water in it and lay it in the sun. Go for a hike, come back later, and you have warm water to shower with. I don’t think the bag is big enough to hold enough water to wash my hair with, but I get clean everywhere else before crawling into my sleeping bag.It’s a winner for me.

This camp shower is great for at the beach, or anywhere you need to rinse off. We use it to rinse our kids down before changing and heading back home. It makes water very hot after sitting in the sun all day. I put it in the shade and test the temperature periodically until it's time to use. The 4 or 5 gallons goes a far way when its gravity fed. The hose sprayer makes it convenient to rinse, lather, and rinse again. The bladder is thick and durable. When not full of water it folds down to be compact for storage.
