Great pellet/smoker for the price! I have used electric smokers for the last 10 years. Due to physical limitations, I cannot bend and lift for them. I decided to try a pellet smoker. I was blown away by the ease of use of this smoker. There is more than enough room to cook. My first project was a tri-tip roast and it was delish! I had not realized how much faster a pellet smoker is compared to an electric one. It was easy to put together and a shout-out to BBQ Joe who has a great full-length video on how to put it together. You will find him in the reviews of this product. The more I look at this, it reminds me of another type of smoker on the market that costs more than this one does. I just ordered a smoke generator for it and will let you know how it works with this. In all the years that I have used electric smokers, this is the first time I got a smoke ring! It was never important to me before but I was thrilled to see how well this smoker performs.

Just because it's a smaller unit doesn't mean I'm a shorter person. Legs on it should be longer. I'm 5'5" and have to bend over to insert and extract food. Grease holder leaked so husband added some ingenuity and fixed that. For the price it's still a good unit.

The smoker may be small but it does an amazing job. So far I've smoked a pork shoulder, a few spatchcock chickens and made some bacon. And ill be smoking some trout tomorrow. Everything works great and it gives the perfect amount of smoke. My only issue is the temperature gauge isn't really accurate. However, adding another probe inside the smoker makes it easy to get the temperature you want.

Wasn’t to bad to build found the plastic on the front screen to be damaged everything else was ok till I turned it on and it sounded like a it was going to blow up found the plate under the auger was vibrating so bad so I will have to silicone that to get it to stop other then that have not used it yet also doesn’t have a prime button so that’s kind of annoying

I had a portable pellet grill that was about 250 sq ft of cooking area that reached it's end of life. I wanted a more standard sized pellet but still needed some portability. King Chii to the rescue. My review will focus on a few things I read from other reviews that had me on the fence:1 - Packaging (pictured) - This was the most well packaged piece of equipment I've ever received. This company really covered all bases with protection for the main parts and accessories included.2 - Directions - Assembly was pretty straight forward. Took a little common sense matching up the part called with the diagrams shown. Unpackaging to completed assembly was 1 hour with 1 person. Burn in directions were a little lacking. End result was I loaded heat diffuser, drip pan and grates and ran on high for 1 hour. The way directions are worded, you may end up trying this without anything installed and the unit will throw an ERH code eventually for overheating.3 - Height (pictured) - It's definitely shorter than some grills I've owned but it's not toy sized. I am 6'1 and didn't need to modify how I handled things as compared to my egg grill next to it.After assembly and burning in...I had to put it through it's paces same day. Grilled a couple ribeyes with potatoes and asparagus and was very happy with performance. Hopper is a good size that won't require constant reloading and I was surprised with how quick this unit can get up to temp. I did need to let it settle a bit as it will go past the target and then need to back off a little to stabilize....but that's part of the fun of learning your equipment.Good buy and will recommend (included cover was a nice throw in).
