Currently my favorite SSD. Have this on my laptop, desktop and Legion go. All works amazing. You also could add a heat sink if needed

I feel i have to write a review about KingSpec XG7000 NVMe 2TB SSD (i guess it should be relevant to all NVMe SSD?) as i was looking for a good solution for transferring all our DVD's to hard drive for convenience, and although i do know that it is possible to transfer media to hard drives, i really wasn't sure about the compatibility with an NVMe drive, as everywhere i looked for reviews and guidance (including dozens of Amazon reviews), i couldn't find a single review saying that an NVMe drive is good for media playback through a TV, or in our case, playback streaming through the router which is so convenient as it is just like having our own in-house private streaming service and available to all the TVs in our home and I'm very happy to confirm that it does indeed work a treat.I'm not a regular computer user and don't play any games consoles, but but in my middle aged opinion, transferring 147 episodes of The Dukes of Hazard in 2 minutes 15 seconds as an example is really fast and I'm glad not to be spending a lot of time sitting in front of the PC.Once the NVMe was formatted, it shown 1.89TB out of the 2TB and so far i have used 733GB which is 1167 movies and episodes from box sets and so there is still plenty of space for future movies and box sets. The KingSpec 2TB NVMe cost me just under £94 and i had to purchase an inclosure to put it in which only cost £16 also from Amazon and is a good item too, it is a good quality aluminium item, as in the pictures, that came with two different cables (USB type A to type C and also type C to type C) a screwdriver, extra screws and two thermal strips. The NVMe works perfectly for downloading media such as movies and box sets for watching on a TV and i would recommend the KingSpec NVMe if anyone is looking for a reasonably priced and fast hard drive.I hope this review helps others to decide that an NVMe SSD is a great solution for anyone who is looking to idea of putting movies and box sets onto a hard drive for the purpose of plugging it into a TV or to stream though a router... It works perfectly and has super speeds for transferring media.

After running low on my D: drive on my gaming computer, I found myself in the market for a new faster and larger (more storage) SSD.I was looking for something that had increased capabilities but yet was less in cost than WD, Samsung, and Seagate. Now I did this upgrade right around the same time I upgraded my C: drive SSD too. However, that was a different brand I used for that drive. This Kingspec is the second one to date that I have purchased. The first was a 2230 which was meant for an upgrade to a console but ended up never doing the upgraded so it has been used as additional storage on another console (works great and greatly reduced load speeds). After reading the good experience with the 2230 I figured I would give them another go ahead. This specific ssd replaced a Crucial P5+ which worked flawlessly, however I was looking to get more storage and while I'm doing that why not look to improve read/write speeds too?! I've never heard anyone say I don't like my computer to boot, or load programs/games faster. The storage on the Kingspec doubled my Crucial which is now a few years old and it also it also reads and writes faster than my Crucial did too. I have ran crystal disk to evaluate the speeds and I have peaked at 7200/6500 r/w which is faster than what my crucial was capable of. So far I am pleased with the performance of the Kingspec.

Four Stars for benchmarking at slightly under it's rated speeds. Doesn't seem to get too warm with it's stock thermal sticker in an AMD Mini-PC. Shipping was next day Prime fast and the price was reasonable. However, I found it at one place a little cheaper, but with a much slower delivery time. I wouldn't discourage anyone wanting to purchase it from Amazon. It even came with a tiny mounting screw!
