I like this slightly oversized escutcheon for a bathroom remodel; escutcheon for the chrome shower head. Cover a rather ugly oversize hole in the drywall, which is the good news, along with the step design which gives it some visual character over the flat escutcheons. Heavy weight brass, with a polished chrome finish. Dropped one star because the shower nipple would not fit the hole. Had to break out the round file and open up the hole so that everything fit. No issue with appearance, just would have been nice if it fit the first time.

This item is useless! It looks good, but the center hole was too small to fit over my shower spout, so I couldn't use it.

This was the best one to cover all of the hole for the shower arm. But it was a hair too small to go on. Easily made to fit with a dremel with a flapwheel attachment that can fit into the hole when in use (sanding all the inside perimeter at the same time). Secure the cover. Remove the plastic/rubber piece. It gets hot. Also check fit often. It doesnt take much to make the hole larger.

Remodeled and and 2 1/2 shower flange wouldn't quite cover hole in wall. Couldn't find a 3 inch flange locally.This 3 inch flange completely covered hole. Worked great...

This worked perfectly for me. I was reluctant to buy given other reviews that said they had to grind the hole bigger to fit a shower arm, but glad I didn't listen. It is snug but it pushed right on. Great for an art deco look.

This is a very sturdy and well made escutcheon. I purchased it in polished brass - very pretty and rich color. Escutcheon also has a small rubber washer inside to help grip the pipe and prevent water from passing through the escutcheon hole. We are using it behind our new Delta polished brass tub spout. Looks great and fits 1/2 copper pipe easily.

I really like the apparent quality of this escutheon but, unless I misunderstand their site, this is a one size/fits all type that the manufacturer wants you to cut the hole wider for fitting up to and inch and a quarter pipe like your sink drain. Even for 1/2" copper, it wouldn't fit over the pipe without cutting the hole slightly bigger which takes out the rubber gromet that suppose to snug around the pipe. So if they want to make this a 5 star, rating they will need to: make the product fit over the sized pipe its rated for WITHOUT having to drill a bigger hole; ie if its sold for a 1/2" pipe, you should be able to immediately slip it onto a 1/2" size copper pipe right out of the box. And have escutheons for 1/2", 3/4", 1" & 1 1/4" sized copper pipes.
