I was very pleased to find this Zintsugi beginners kit. It is not packaged for gift giving, but it comes with everything you will need, including two small ceramic dishes. I've always admired the Japanese are of ceramics repair, and look forward to trying it.

I love the idea of fixing broken things in a way that highlights the beauty of the break and repair, rather than trying to pretend like the damage never happened. On receiving this kit, I wasn't overly impressed--it was not packaged with care, with everything thrown higgledy-piggledy into the product box, all jumbled up. Nothing seems to be damaged, and all the pieces are there. The dish I intended to fix was accidentally thrown out, so I have not yet had a chance to test the actual effectiveness of the process. I will update my review as soon as I am able to fairly test it out.
