I ordered the fuel cap, and it was a perfect fit for the OEM fuel cap that had fallen off in heavy brush.

Included O-ring thicker than factory. Stretch it into place close to top and be prepared for a bit "firmer" twist to lock it into place. May never need the second cap, but nice to know I have a quick spare.

did work for my Briggs and Stratton. I was able to get a thicker O ring at the hardware store and just used the old cap

The item description said that it would fit my mower. While it did fit on, it did not have any gasket to keep the gasoline in the mower so once it was started with a full-ish tank, the gas leaked out from underneath the gas cap. Upon turning the cap to tighten it, the retention strap broke so it does not secure to the side of the mower fuel cell in case the cap pops off. It was almost like it was dry rotted. To keep the gas from sloshing out of the tank, I have to put part of a plastic bag over the hole and then place the gas cap. If I could go lower than one star - I would. 0.25 Stars

Just clip it into the gas cap holding slot and then put the cap on the tank . Was a simple fix . The old one had unscrewed itself and I never noticed it and backed right over it , nothing left . This one seems to fit tighter.
