Gleeful Goblin Review: This is a high quality, well made laddle. I'd been looking for an excuse to pick up something like this for a hot minute and I'm glad that I chose this particular laddle. It may seem silly, but the size of the scoop is perfectly sized.

Weighty and well made - exactly as advertised. The length is listed so be aware that this is not a long ladle that you’d want to use in deep pots. I am slowly replacing my kitchen utensils to replace the plastic ones. All sorts of talk lately about micro plastics, so now another thing to avoid for health reasons. :-/ The stainless looks better anyway as I keep my most-used utensils in a crock on the counter.

I really like this ladle. It feels sturdy in my hand and has just the right weight, not too heavy and not too light. The polished stainless steel looks nice and holds up well while I’m cooking.The handle is comfortable, and I like that I can hang it up easily when I’m done. I use it for soups, stews, sauces, whatever I’m making, and it scoops just the right amount. Cleaning it is super easy too. It’s a simple tool, but I find myself reaching for it all the time.

Overall I'm pretty happy with this ladle, it feels solid enough to get the job done. When in use i have not felt like the handle area would bend, even with stiff or caked on food residue. the scoop region delivers a good portion of soup or rice, for an individual serving. Lastly I think this Ladle is a pretty decent value given the solid metal construction and the reasonable pricepoint(9.99 at the time of review).

This is the perfect ladle that I have been looking for. A ladle made with actual metal. The volume that it can scoop up is amazing. One scoop of this ladle is twice or even 3 times of the scoop compare to my other ladles. The only down side is it is a bit heavy, but then again, it's not like I'm working with this ladle 8 hours a day.

We've recently tossed out nearly all of our serving utensils, as they were just too worn for us to be comfortable with them anymore. We are also trying to cut out a lot of the plastic that we use with our food, so these worn (mostly plastic) utensils were replaced with a wooden set and a metal set, and both are pretty nice. Except the ladles.Well, that's not fair. Those ladles are nice, but pretty small. The larger one holds a bit less than 1/3 cup of water, and the smaller is almost exactly 1/4 cup. Those aren't bad for a sauce or something, but when I am serving up soup, they both seem so tiny.This ladle is great. It holds 1/2 cup, so I can fill a soup bowl with half as many scoops. I love that.The ladle is in one piece, so cleaning is a breeze. No icky seams to trap food bits. It has a great balance to it, and just feels good in the hand.

The first thing I noticed was how nice and heavy the ladle is. I was expecting something flimsy. This ladle certainly is not. It is made of stainless steel. It is solid, with no jointed parts, no screws, no welded joints, and no sharp edges (pic 3.) The ladle bowl is nice and deep with a width of over 3" (pic 5.) The handle is nice and long (pic 4) and includes a hole at the end for hanging on a hook (pic 6.) The ladle is dishwasher safe. But to retain the shiny surface, avoid any harsh soaps or abrasive material. The ladle is made in China and is definitely worth the money. Once I used this ladle, I began searching for other items made by this company. Well done Hi-Find, well done indeed.
