The bottom gets scratched up from the wire rack. Cleans up nice. The lid was dented but it still worked. It’s very big.

One use, a turkey, cooked at 350 degrees. Teflon coating flaking off inside and the bottom is totally scratched from sliding the roaster in/out of the oven. Won’t be around my house for long.

I am adding to my original review. We decided to try the roaster for our 22 lb. turkey and might have kept it in spite of the dents, which would not have diminished the performance of the roaster. We roasted the bird with the lid on for 3 hours before removing the lid to brown it. When I removed the lit, I saw that the inside of the lit was dry, so it does not "self baste", as stated in the features. On a positive note, the turkey was not dry, and was perfectly roasted. When we started to wash the base, we noticed that the stainless steel rack (which moves around, being smaller than the inside of the bottom pan), had scraped the Teflon coating on the inside bottom of the pan in 4 places, exposing the bare metal. The scratches are to the right of the white lies,2-large, 2-sma;ll. The dents are in the rectangles, but were not the deal breaker. Teflon can be hazardous to humans, and the juice drippings (broth) from the turkey was used to prepare giblet gravy, and probably consumed in the gravy. We did not see this problem until we washed the roaster. This combination is a bad design based on the Teflon being scraped off by the rack during normal use. The manufacture could have avoided this by supplying an oven proof, high temperature silicone pad (550 degree resistance on Amazon for under $15.00) to be installed under the stainless steel rack, or provided 6 silicone covers for the contact points on the rack to the roaster base. I am returning this product for a refund. This is the end of my additional review.We received our roaster that was not packaged in a protective outer box. It has two dents in the bottom of the pan and the material is very thin and light weight coated steel, not a clad aluminum product. I used a magnet to test the material and confirm that it is coated steel. It does not list if this roaster can be also used on an induction stove, since it would be versatile if used in a bridged induction unit top because if it's size.The screws holding the handles were loose. We have to try it out, and the performance of this roaster will determine if we keep it.Yes, the light weight is the good, since a 25 lb. turkey is heavy, but the flimsy material, easily dented may be an issue. If it flexes as it heats and cools, I will be interested if the non-stick coating stays on or begins to de-laminate.

If you're looking for a pan that will roast a 25lb+ turkey, you've found it. This thing is quite large.Unfortunately, the quality is mediocre.The material is very thin, which was disappointing given the premium price. The handles feel thin and cheap as well.The first one I received was dented on the lid and the bottom of the pan (despite choosing "Ship in Amazon packaging", which was not done.) I returned it and got a replacement, which had a dent in the bottom as well. Not worth returning again, however.I wish the manufacturer would have used heavier gauge steel during construction. Some things are worth paying extras for, this being one of them.*UPDATE* I changed the rating from 3 stars to 2 as the rack feet scratched the coating off the bottom of the pan. Very disappointing.

I really liked that this pan is quite large that is has enough room for two roasted chickens, and vegetables.The teflon non stick is great for clean up.When I received the package the box was torn. Once I opened the box. the bottom of the pan has a dent from the lid packaged upside down. I wish the product was packed in a larger box with protective cushion. I would have shared a photo of the dent, but it's hard to capture the dent on a dark colored pan.
