There's nothing inherently wrong with the toy, but my cats sniffed it once and have ignored it since, even after I tried to entice them to play with it multiple times over several days.

The concept is great, but within 15 minutes my cat had the ball out of the thing and we can’t find it. We’ve tried other balls but nothing stays in. He loves it while the ball is in it, but it comes out.

My little guy he’s 6mon old and he fell in love with this toy once I opened it! Kept him busy for a going on a hour now. Totally ordering more and make it bigger to see if my older two cats will play with it now.Recommend this toy if you need something to keep your cat busy.

Small. Ordered 2. Not what I expected. My cat just looked at it and walked away.

Cats will tear it apart within 2 days, lost the ball the first day. Have since found it. My cats went wild for this. Will need double sided tape to repair it. One cat thinks it's a chew toy and is tearing it apart. A bit expensive for less than a day playing before repairs are needed.

This is a great toy. While it didn’t come with instructions, I immediately noticed the indentation on the end pieces, stretched it out and discovered the magnets easily and firmly held the ends together.I had a lot of fun experimenting with the silly thing, but finally put it together, added the ball and let the cat have her turn. The older kitty was a bit too dignified to get caught playing with it, but the younger (5-year-old) loves it. She also likes paper, so she’s started to chew and scratch with it a couple times.I like that it keeps changing configuration as she plays, so she doesn’t get bored. I wander over now and again when she’s not around and change the shape just to keep things fresh.Anyway, great design, great toy.

I shared another reviewer's initial reaction of, "how on earth do I set this up for them?" But don't fret - you expand the horseshoe shape (it expands like an accordion), then match up the ends with the ball inside. Then, you flip it inside out. While I was figuring this out, my 8mo old kittens were hyped and impatient to play with it. They love, jingly toys, ball track type types, and cardboard, so this is their toy ideal. They played for a solid ten minutes before passing out, and then later pounced on it independently to try to get the ball.I'm not sure how durable it will be, but they love it in the meantime and I'm glad I got to add it to our household for their enrichment.

I have four cats and got this for one of my cats that loves to play with cardboard and the stationary ball chasing toys. He LOVES it. I wish I had gotten a video or photo but I didn't have my phone when he was playing with it last night. He was rolling all over it and batting the ball back-and-forth. This is SUPER easy to assemble. Remove the plastic overwrap, connect the two magnetic paws. Stretch it out. Insert ball. Done.I was worried the magnets wouldn't be strong enough to withstand play but so far they've held up and this has not come apart. While it looks tiny, it's VERY stretchy.
