doesn't work

I picked up these controllers after my daughter broke one of the backup controllers, and overall, they do the job—but there are a few quirks worth mentioning. First off, they look and feel just like the classic Xbox 360 controllers, which is great for muscle memory. The buttons and triggers are responsive, and they connected to my PC without much hassle. If you're looking for something simple to get started, they’ll work fine.If you're sitting directly in front of the TV/Xbox, this works great. I've noticed that the range deminishes as you apply distance and weird angles, but for my purposes, it hasn't been a problem. If you’re just using these for casual gaming or as backups for guests, they’re decent for the price. Just don’t expect premium performance.

These controllers look, feel and act just like any other generic Xbox 360 controllers, which is nice since so many PC games support them out-of-the-box. However, I found that the range on these is very poor compared to my other generic Xbox 360 controllers. With my other controllers, I can stand in another room and hold the controller behind my back, and it works just fine. With these ones, though, they stop responding basically as soon as there isn't line-of-sight from the controller to the receiver. If you're sitting right in front of your computer, then this shouldn't be an issue. But if your computer is back behind something, or if someone will be sitting between you and your TV or monitor, then you'll probably have a bad time.I also had an issue on my Windows laptop where the controller would only work for a few seconds after plugging it in, but my Windows desktop works just fine, so not sure what that was about (both are unfortunately running Windows 11).
