Great set of clappers. I appreciate the two different sizes. They are finished nicely with no rough edges and are made of smooth solid wood.

The crispiest seams you ever did see can be yours with these two clappers. I didn't even have to use any serious pressure. I simply pressed the seam and laid the clapper over the top with minimal pressure. The outcome was a very crispy pressed seam that gave an almost starched impression. How does it work? Steaming and pressing introduce heat and moisture into the fabric which relaxes the wrinkles from the fabric. The clapper is used to extract that moisture and firm up the fabric in the direction you've pressed it. This is where the clean lines and dry cleaned look comes from.
