Looks like a great product, but the title “flute/piccolo” was miss leading because it only fits a piccolo.

It’s a great product; it’s made with proper materials and isn’t some “cheaply made gadget” that’s a one time use thing. If a stand is too thick, it won’t be able to go on, but the majority of stands aren’t that thick and shouldn’t be an issue.

Good product. Fits almost all music stands

This works great for holding my piccolo and keeping it closer to my hands for quick instrument changes, as opposed to ones that sit on the floor. I will say, I find I must place it lower on the music stand that I originally thought, in order to have enough space to take the instrument off the peg quickly without banging it on the music stand.

It's much easier to reach my piccolo from this level than leaning lower. It works great at rehearsal! I have yet to have used it during a performance.

I just opened this up and attached it to a Manhasset music stand. Looks to be well made and high quality. There is attached padding on both sides of the attachment to prevent scratching the stand’s paint. Nice for smaller instruments so you wouldn’t have to bend over as far to swap as you do with a floor stand. Shown here with a few different instruments.Sopranino recorder: great fit. Soprano recorder: very good fit. (Not shown with alto recorder, it was too wobbly do not use.)Wood piccolo: decent fit - bit tight at the bottom be careful sliding it on and off. (Might be different for different bore wood piccolos, this one has a fairly strong taper.) Flute is on the ground beside it on another K&M stand. The peg is thicker and attaches differently to that stand. It looks like K&M makes a larger recorder peg and a flute peg for this type of stand but in a cursory search I didn't find any US vendors who sold it. Would not recommend using this for flute anyway, the instrument has to be lower on the stand than you'd think in order to clear the music tray when you pick it up.Aluminum D penny whistle from Michael Burke: bit loose but will work (YMMV with whistles depending on its size/bore). That last one shows a mandolin on a String Swing stand also attached to the music stand, it works fine to use more than one stand at a time (I bought them at the same time). The mando stand cost $5 less but it's not as nice; the attachment looks like it could scratch the music stand paint unless I add some felt pads or something. (K&M doesn't make a mando/violin stand like this.)

This is attached to my and is pretty unobtrusive. I find it better than a floor stand because I don't have to bend down so far(!) but more importantly it just gets my piccolo out of harm's way. The instrument is so tiny that put it on a floor stand and you could forget it's there and end up kicking it over or knocking it during instrument changes (for multi-instrumentalists).Be aware that it's hard to attach this to the narrow uprights found on folding music stands. I bought it originally for that purpose but although the screw will go tight enough there just isn't enough for it to grip on to and it droops and might eventually collapse. I don't take this to rehearsals with me for that very reason but also because it's a bit of nuisance keep unscrewing it all the time. At rehearsals I do use a but it makes me nervous.

not very sturdy, I don't like the screw type attachment to the music stand. You have to put it down on the very bottom where it rests on the legs of the stand, and even then can wiggle. Would NOT recommend this even for a piccolo.

Debated on whether to buy a fold up stand that sits on the floor (as I have one for my flute) but glad I went for this option. Attaches securely at any height ensuring it's correctly placed for the flautist. The width of the peg is just right so the piccolo glides on and off. Excellent addition for any K&M folding stand, also fits my sturdier broader 'conductors' stand. My piccolo is now safely off the floor and within my reach (as I used to lay it horizontal on the open case under the stand legs).
