I have seen other reviews of missing parts of these intake kits, usually hearing about small things like a hose clamp or a bolt. I received mine yesterday and immediately inventoried the parts, I was missing the heat shield and some edge trim. This just so happens to be the largest and most important item in the kit. Will update when K & N has a chance to spend me the rest of my kit.

Moderately easy to install; however, the package was missing a hose coupler. I had to buy a different one that fit.

The shipping was timely and and the box looked fine. BUT you have to be sure that you have all the parts that suppose to be included in the kit. My box stated it was the correct kit, yet the instructions were for a vehicle that was totally different.( I have a car and it was for a truck) after looking up the instructions I figured out that I was missing a boot that was required I was lucky enough to have a hose that would work temporarily while I contact K&N to get the correct part. It has been over a month and I never got a response from them. ( will update the review if I ever hear back from K&N) Overall the filter works well, just would be nice if you got everything you payed for.

Purchased for a 2015 VW Jetta TSI, 1.8L Turbo. Installation was easy except for a few steps that weren't 100% clear but you can figure it out relatively easy. It does mention to cut the air injection hose (if it applies to you) don't do the 6" like it says to do. Take it down a few inches at a time. If you do make this mistake, your best option is to reroute that air injection hose underneath the heat shield and it might be a stretch but it is doable. That was the hardest part of the entire setup, figuring out how to undo what the directions said to do.If you disconnect your battery and reconnect when you're done, you are going to get lights on the dash. Tire pressure monitoring light, traction control light and the general caution light. They do go away after driving above 25MPH for a few hundred feet (or whatever the owners manual says). So if this happens to you and you didn't expect it need not worry, you didn't do anything wrong.ON THE ROAD:Throaty sound but not too loud to be noticeable. You do hear the turbocharger spool up much more frequent and it is quite loud as well. I never noticed the stock blow off valve before until I installed this intake. You will notice an improvement of torque on the low-end right away. At high RPM, I didn't see much improvement. It just helps the car get up and go much better than the stock intake but didn't make too much of a different when you're trying to get on it at a higher speed.Either way, I am pleased with it. I don't think it was worth $355 to be honest but I think I paid mainly for the name but that's just my opinion.Get one and see for yourself!

I have no complaints, very easy to install, looks OEM and amazing, excellent sound, is addicting, and I feel the little increase of horse power.
