Intake sounds great, can definitely feel better throttle response and maybe a little bit more power. Only issue I had was I had to shave down the metal in the MAF housing because the MAF wouldn't properly fit at first. That's the reason for four stars instead of five. Installation was straight forward and the instructions were easy to follow. Other than shaving the metal the quality of the product was high. Overall would recommend to someone looking for more interior sound and a bump in throttle response, but don't expect a huge power increase over stock.

This is a great product and the K&N Installation Video online made the install easy. The only complaint I have is when I paid the extra money for K&N 69-4519TP it showed both a chrome pipe and chrome cap on the end of the filter. What I got was a chrome Pipe and a Black capped filter which effects the overall look somewhat. I know it dose not effect the performance but I paid extra money for the look not performance.

Boy was I skeptical of over 100 reviews and all of them 4 or 5 stars.... 93% of them at 5 stars. It seemed too good to be true BUT I'm now a believer! I have a 2014 SS Camaro and I had recently removed my resonators and straight piped back to a set of Borla mufflers. Loved the sound but lost a noticeable amount of acceleration on the low end of the RPM range. Installing the CAI completely reversed the effects of this and added even more power back! Increased highway fuel economy by almost 2 MPG but I have to be honest, it's killed my City MPG because I can't keep my foot out off the accelerator now! The only "negative" I could give this was the installation directions in several spots state "install using the provided hardware" but it does not tell you WHICH hardware (for example - where should I have used the flat washers and where should I have used the lock washers for example... and how many of each). Even so, from start to finish, including getting out the tools and putting them away the install was done in less than 90 minutes. Other than that, this is the best $325 you can spend for a quick performance boost for your vehicle.

Just what you'd expect from K&N- Fit, finish, and quality are perfect. It looks great under the hood and wasn't too bad to install. The directions are quite vague as is the video. It took me a while to figure some things out. Just one example is the tell you to remove the connector from the mass air-flow sensor. This had me stumped for a while. You have to pull a tab forward, then press in just the right spot to allow the connector free. Other than the directions (including their video) lacking in detail, I love the product, get better mileage, and picked up a dozen horsepower in the process.

Nice easy mod to my 2013 Camaro SS. It was mostly a breeze to install. There were a few times when I felt like the instructions writer expected me to know something I didn't. For instance, how to remove the vent hose from the stock location (take your time and wiggle it and it will eventually pop straight off). One more sentence would have saved some hassle. But I eventually figured it all out. I wish the K&N sticker was optional/removable but overall it looks awesome. Very impressive when you open the hood. Stand near it when someone is revving the engine and you'll hear the engine sucking in air like never before. I definitely noticed a difference in the feel and sound of the engine. It's louder and deeper at full throttle and throttle response seems quicker. This opened up the performance a little. I felt like the stock intake was holding the engine back a little, not quite allowing it to breath enough. Worth the price.

On my last 5th Gen Camaro I installed a HallTech YellowJacket and really liked the intake but I lost the car to a drunk driver slamming into me and totaling my car. On this second install I really didn't want to spend $400 on an intake as I feel that is completely overpriced so I decided on the K&N Blackhawk even though I was concerned about the tubing being metal instead of a non-heat conducting material. I really liked the fact that the filer was black (as my car is) and that it's a dry filter that I don't have to clean and re-oil all the time (like my Halltech) and that I didn't have to worry about oil possibly getting in the MAF Sensor. Even though the Halltech was a nice quality CAI and I would still recommend it to anyone I couldn't believe the quality of everything that was included in this kit. The mandrel bent tubing w/ powder coating was excellent and the heat shield was sturdy and well formed metal with no sharp edges. The K&N dry black filter was very nice and the rubber molding for the heat shield and the tubing sleeves were heavy duty and of excellent quality and even the hose clamps were black so it came together nicely. Instructions were very easy to follow and understand (except for how to remove the MAF harness connector). My engine sounds way better and you can hear the air jetting into the intake especially at high RPMs and my Camaro sounds meaner than ever! At $260 bucks and $140 cheaper than most of the other CAI brands this is a great product.

product arrived early and is of very high quality at a great savings. Installation was easier after viewing available online videos - there are several opportunities to scratch your fenders or drop small pieces - so work deliberately and take your time. Tricky disconnecting existing hose off valve cover without tiny hands - but it was doable with patience.caution: I noticed an opportunity to make for along day - be careful not to forget yourself an close your trunk lid after disconnecting the negative battery terminal (battery is in the trunk) - unless you are small enough to make it through the pass through in the rear seats to pop your trunk open without power. Confused? Try it and you'll see what I mean.I would highly recommend the product - it really made a noticeable improvement to performance on the 6.2L V* - not just an attractive under hood upgrade.
