Came with a 6” filter instead of a 5”. Be wary. I have to go get another filter because its on my daily driver. Check if you order this before you install.Also the button head bolt included was the wrong size.Also instructions SUCK. Be careful before you install. Check everything before you tear your car apart. Be smarter than me.

installed on 2001 toyota tacoma 2.4. installation was fairly straightforward. seems really expensive for what you get. for sure the components are all really nice and the finished product looks cool. the “air dam” left me scratching my head a bit, and over all its a little hokey pokey especially for the price. i think the gains are modest but gains are gains, and i would definitely recommend this as an easy and no brainer mod for really any car.

Horrific instructions. Call customer service and they will email you an amazing version. Once you get the instructions then you’re set. Smooth sailing after the good instructions. It kicks butt. Great purchase. Stoked.

The intake fit perfectly, gave my 2.7 liter Tacoma a little more throttle response, and made a nice sound. I put on a new exhaust with the intake to optimize the power.

Product installed 3 days ago. Love it on my 02 Tacoma 2.7! The most obvious improvement is throttle response. This product has definitely increased HP and acceleration for my truck. It also sounds a little meaner, previously thinking that was not possible.

This is more of a review of the menu used to choose the item then the item. I gave the item 4-stars since it arrived well packed and looked to be an excellent product. My review is more of the Amazon menu for picking the correct item. I put my automotive info as request in the ordering process and a model number came back to me indicating the correct one for my vehicle. Well, it WAS NOT the correct model. I got it and looked at the instruction sheet and it did not appear to be the correct one even tho I had already removed the old air filtration system. I called K & N and they gave me the correct part number. I then took both the part numbers of the item received as well as the one given to me by K & N and ran them through the Amazon menu. They both came back as correct for my vehicle application. WHOOOOPS !!! I am sending the first and incorrect one back and have ordered the correct one based on the verified number (twice) given to me by the manufacturer. Still, the RETURN POLICY for Amazon is EXCELLENT and I will continue to buy from them....BUT they need to fix the automotive menu for selecting the correct air induction system on the online site. IT is a waste of time and money to return an incorrect item and reorder the correct one. I will review the re-ordered item when I get it installed after I receive it.
