The oversized, conical design allows you to go up to 50,000 miles between filter services under normal highway driving conditions. A custom designed open heat shield helps protect intake air from the high temperature of your engine bay, and the entire system can typically be installed in less than 60 minutes. Not legal for sale or use in California on any pollution controlled motor vehicle.

I can't speak about it's performance yet, but I do know that at this price, and from a reputable company like K&N, I would expect a product that was at least made correctly. I know, I'm the idiot for not just sending it back and getting a replacement or buying from someone else. One of the two mounting bushings drill on the wrong side of the air box, which needed to be plugged and I had to locate and drill a hole in the correct location. The hole in the side for the Mass Air flow port, was undersized and not even round, it's like someone was just free hand cutting it, and guessing at the factory. I has to use a Dremel to round out the hole to make it fit. Nothing of this experience makes me feel good about spending over $350 on this product.

Awesome cold air kit from K&N like always. Simple install on my 2012 Ram 2500 6.7. Took me 30 minutes start to finish. Worth every penny. Not a huge power gain but the reliability factor is worth it to me. Plus who does love that cold air intake sound when you hammer down!!

2011 Ram 2500 Crew Cab 6.7L Cummins.I'd have to start by saying this, my average MPG went from, 14.1 to 19, and that is the average. Now the major improvement was the highway mileage, I am not even sure what I get because of the gauge system only goes up to 30, but I get over 30 going 70 mph with 35X12.5X18 BF KM2's. The turbo sounds much better, the truck feels a bit faster as well.Easy install, it took me one hour.The directions were fairly helpful.Makes the engine compartment look nicer, it compliments the Cummins.
