I bought this as an experiment to replace the more expensive Volvo Penta #3580509 air filter for my diesel boat engine. The fit wasn't perfect due to its length (slightly too long) and I will try a different one (RU-1760) next time but so far I'm happy with it. I only wish the company took the time to produce a cross reference for the original filter.
