This filter is EXACTLY the same dimensions as the stock one for my 2010 Sea Doo Speedster 150 jet boat with the 255 HP motor. Even the filter element is the same exact appearance and color, which makes me think Sea Doo used these as OEM filters (just no K&N stamped on the original). Regardless, this is a nice flowing one, comes pre-oiled, so just drop it in and go. With a set of new spark plugs, my boat is now running as good or better than day one from the factory! Also note the filter can easily be washed out and re-oiled, so it will likely be the last filter I need to buy for the boat. Great fit and quality, highly recommended, just be sure to read the specs on the K&N site to get the correct photos and dimensions. Just to confirm, the exact filter I am reviewing and purchased is K&N RU-2430.

K&N quality as expected. These filters never disappoint. I was concerned that the 5" diameter and 5" length would choke the engine (1.6L turbo) but it didn't cut boost down at all and the car is still a bear to handle under power. TURBO BOOST!!!! The smaller size made it possible to close the hood without interference, otherwise I'd use a larger element.

Update: I've had this fitted to my car for 3 years now - and with regular recharging via the K&N filter recharge kit, it still looks brand new! This has now saved me money over my usual disposable air filters - plus this sounds SO much better. The intake noise is insane (when you hit VTEC up to 9000rpm, anyway!)I replaced the standard air filter on my Honda S2000 with some long arm intake pipe-working for behind the bumper for increased air flow and to stop heat soak in traffic. This filter was the perfect diameter to fit my pipe work, but also a good size filter to not only fit in the bumper but to also increase the total surface area of the air filter.After a couple of years of having this fitted, I've bought the recharge kit from K&N and are following the recommendations for re-oiling the filter.K&N's website is a great tool for finding out all the diameters and sizes of the various filters they make and sell.There's no wonder K&N are the world leaders in air filters, I'll definitely be buying from them again.

Does not fit a honda 400 ex, had it longer than 2 months, while rebuilding the bike, was unable to return.
