These felt good. The metal was strong and it took effort to pinch them into place. A good sign they would stay in place and not fall out when the shelf was moved. They sort of snapped into place! I originally got them for a specific project but after using them on that project I went looking for other shelves using the same type of clip and replaced all wimpy ones I found! I might just get a bunch more and put in some more shelves!

So relieved to find these! I have bookshelves that were in a chemistry lab of a local school that was being decommissioned. They must be at least 50 years old. I lost a number of them in a move. Tried clips from the local hardware store and they were close but not a good fit. Fortunately the manufacturer had stamped the name and number. These fit exactly right—form and weight exactly the same, except these are shinier. Slipped right into place. Quick shipping too, so I was able to keep setting my shelves up.
