安物のプライヤーを使ってスナップリングを取り外ししていましたが、着脱それぞれの作業において最悪10分近くかかっていました。ひどいとリングが宙を舞い、見失う…。物陰に落ちたときは探すのに苦労しました。正直私の腕がよっぽど悪いのではないかと思っていました。そんなわけでKNIPEXを奮発して買いましたが、一瞬で…とまではいかないもの、1,2回トライすれば着脱できるようになりました。よっぽど酷い工具を使っていたようです。おかげで作業が格段に楽になりました。

knipex, ftw. these are the best-made snap-ring pliers. ever. the special tips have just the perfect amount of tilt to hold the snao-ring in place without twisting. the models with the over-travel protection are amazing for delicate or repetitive jobs.i only wish the tips were somehow replaceable but if i ever break a tip, i'll figure something out... :)
