I have been using these pliers for the past 2 years on numerous Ford vehicles. Most of the hose clamps found on Ford’s are compatible with this pliers. It makes an easy job of unwinding hose clamps and moving them away on your hoses for either removal or ré-installation or just better position them for future removal. The grip is simply super solid. I have yet to see a single clamp slip under the grip of these pliers tips. I also appreciate the fact that i dont have to squeeze them crazy-hard to get enough leverage to get the clamp’s ears closer together. Yes, they are very expensive but still cheaper then to bring your valued vehicles at the Dealership for this kind of work.A fellow mechanic once told me how outstanding Knipex pliers were. I was really doubtful before using them. Not anymore.If you work on vehicles, if you have to remove coolant hoses, power steering hoses or other type of hoses with ear clamps, these are for you. There is simply no equivalent in the tool market presently.The time i have saved using them instead of regular pliers is more valuable then their initial purchasing cost.*on the picture 3 radiator clamps were moved/replaced using this hose clamp pliers*

どんなにエンジンルームに隙間があっても、ホースバンドは摘みづらいところにあることが多いです。これのおかげで20年落ちの輸入車の冷却系の全ホースの交換ができました。

Pliers worked well on the clamps I had to remove and reinstall. They remove stress as they securely grab the clamp and move it.

I wish I New about this tool earlier In my career. This is the best tool to get to hard spots with those irritating clamps. The swiveling part makes it easier to get at with hard angles. I think this is better then any other type of clamp pliers. This is worth every dollar , I wish it was cheaper , but this is the best on the market , you will make your money back when it comes to time of use.

The price is on the higher end, but the quality is apparent. These work very well for those hard to squeeze clamps.

For the price, I expected them to jump out of the toolbox and open the hose clamps itself! It's well made, but there's no way around those clamps are a pain.

Yes This is PRICEY! If you work with the flat spring clips on any regular basis you know what a P.I.A. they are and how they jump off the pliers or will not move out of the way. If you EVER fought with the compact nubby ones and thought someone broke the spring clip (no, that is the way they come)You will probably want to get this.Slide ratchet close adjustment for easy lineup. Pivoting ends on the jaws so you can wiggle it around without getting bit by the clamp.The inner jaw is smooth and supposed to grip the hose without damage so you can break it free. I have not tried that yet.

Using these to replace vacuum and fuel lines on my old Corvette. Works great! So much easier than fumbling with pliers. Have used these pliers on clamps from 2 inches down to 1/4 inch and they make the job so much easier. The swivel jaw inserts are really useful in tight quarters. If you have a lot of spring clamps to work on, these pliers relieve a lot of frustration.
