where my other tools slip, this just grabs hold and digs in. So much better to use a purpose-built tool than a generic visegrip or channel lock pliers. was able to remove a hose that had frozen to the bib just like that, no swearing, just click and turn. it’s a little tricky to get the hang of adjusting the gap, but I’d rather that than strip the edges off whatever I’m trying to turn. yes, it’s expensive but just works better, worth it to me.

These, like all knipex tools are great build quality and are easy to use. The adjustable function takes awhile to get used to but it works great to get a good fit every time when you get used to it. While not cheap they are worth it.

Dose not have the power and bite of a conventional pipe wrench but fast and easy for smaller pipe sizes 3/4” or less
