I have been knitting quite a few years. Mostly dolls, scarves, and blankets. I have only knitted a few basic sock patterns so this book was my intro into a more sophisticated knitted sock. The patterns are very easy to understand, and what could be better than having directions on a stitch with the abbreviation definitions! Awesome. A beginner may have some difficulty, but no more than learning to knit socks anyway.

This book has the teddy bear plus pocket socks as well as lots of other fun looking patterns. I can't wait to start knitting them.

Who could resist this book when enticed by the penguin socks on the cover. Inside there is an adorable pattern for socks with a pig which runs across both feet. This will definitely add some humor to your sock knitting pleasures.

I have not actually done any knitting from this book but have read the patterns and plan to make some socks for my granddaughters.

My friend recently bought this book, and brought it to our weekly "Knit & Natter" today. I looked through it and immediately I arrived home I ordered a copy for myself. There will be some fun knitting coming up soon!

This book has so many fun and interesting patterns I'd like to make every one of them. The patterns are so unique...for example...the penguin ones on the front...you knit the beak so it stands out from the socks along with the "wings" and "tail". I love this book!

Wonderful patterns and clear instructions. The only reason it didn't get five stars is because some of the patterns call for wrapping stitches at the heel. If you are not familiar with that method it takes a little getting used to. But it is explained and once mastered (I haven't yet) I am sure you will enjoy this book.
