After installing this product on my '02 Chevy Avalanche—boy, was it easy!—I reset the engine code, drove about 60 to 80 miles, and let it idle the next day. The check engine light never came back on! Even better, the truck passed smog with no issues—easy pass, all clear. Seriously, this product is worth every penny. I mounted it on the driver’s side near the oil pan—simple as that. If you're dealing with a knock sensor engine code, trust me, you need this. Guaranteed.

Perfectly fitting on my 2005 Silverado 4x4 5.3, this item solved my knock sensor issue and allowed me to pass Maryland's emission inspection. Amazingly, after almost two months, there are zero codes - especially considering the affordable price for solving such a frustrating problem! You know how painful it is trying to remove those OEM knock sensors, with no guarantee of success if the engine block is completely rusted out. For proper installation on both sides of the block, purchasing the extended two-way split harness is essential if you want to do it correctly.

Anyone with an early-generation GM LS motor has likely encountered knock sensor issues at some point. Being in the valley makes them susceptible to leaks and, of course, a pain to replace since it requires removing the intake manifold and all the associated "stuff" hooked up to it.To compound issues with the flood of counterfeit parts on the market, you might end up doing your knock sensor replacement multiple times, which, I can attest, is not very fun.With this product, you can relocate your knock sensors to the side of your block, similar to the newer generation motors, which makes replacing them MUCH easier!These are of great quality with excellent machining. They offer several solutions for mounting, which work well with various variations of LS motors, as well as custom applications.This is a great solution for anyone wanting to make their life a bit easier!
